Halls, Bazaars and Cars

How gorgeous is this illustration? From the front of a delectable little booklet I bought a while ago and found anew today; it depicts what the text would probably describe as a 'gaily decorated' car and party scene.  For the princely sum of sixpence,  the booklet gives instructions on 'How to Decorate Halls, Bazaars and Cars.'

Naturally,  crepe paper features extensively,  given that the booklet was produced as a marketing tool for Dennison paper goods, by the look of the fashions illustrated,  in the late 1920s/early 30s.

The peppy, confident  text is a joy to read. The opening paragraph sets the tone perfectly;  'Bright and colourful decorations create an atmosphere of gaiety and put people in a mood to be amused and entertained... You cannot go wrong in choosing pink,  yellow or lavender for your decorative scheme.' Ok then!
